BonBèrdè is a company fully focused on Bonaire's nature and green sector since 2018.

With our specialized knowledge of the native flora and fauna we provide appropriate measures that seamlessly match our customer's request.

We are proud to design, realize and manage a wide variety of nature projects on the beautiful island of Bonaire. We also take care of the construction, management and maintenance of various nature reserves on the island.

As a company, BonBèrdè mainly focuses on projects with an implementation period of several months and specifically aimed at the island of Bonaire. These projects are generally carried out on behalf of (semi-)governmental agencies or NGOs active on the island. However, we are open to any project that fits within the nature and environmental objectives of the company.

The green team

  • Quirijn - Director

    Quirijn 'Qiwi' his ample experience with research, management and executive positions within NGO’s on Bonaire is combined with academic knowledge from a Bachelor grade in Tropical forestry and a Master’s in Forest and Nature management.

  • Niels - Project Manager

    Niels ensures that everything runs smoothly in the field. He manages a team of 1 to 3 people. Niels leads the team as a hardworking, solution-oriented manager using a practical approach.

  • Tom - Project Implementation

    Tom is observational, plans before he does something and takes care of the finishing touches. Together with Niels, he ensures the practical implementation of our projects.

  • Roos - Director Assistent

    Roos is responsible for the project planning, administration and financial aspects. She ensures that everything stays organized inside and outside the office.

Internships

There is also room for interns within BonBèrdè. In recent years, we have been able to guide several students from Van Hall Larenstein and Wageningen University.
